Carlsbad events for Manufacturing Day 2017

Go behind the scenes and learn about advances in manufacturing technology for the celebration of San Diego’s Manufacturing Day. Carlsbad’s own Anchor Audio, Chuao Chocolatier, FORECAST 3D, and the MiraCosta Technology Career Institute, are hosting events open to the public.
Tuesday, October 3, 2017 Anchor Audio factory tour at 10:00am

Anchor Audio manufactures Portable PA and Portable Sound Systems. By using a lean manufacturing technique, Anchor Audio is able to keep production in the USA, deliver custom products the same day, and guarantee high quality. During a tour you will see how Portable PA systems are made from speaker to circuit board. Anchor Audio will also be participating in the MFG Day Breakfast hosted by the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation.

Chuao Chocolatier opened their brand new Chuao JOY factory in 2016. This location is home to the manufacturing plant, warehouse, headquarters, chocolate boutique and tour program. Come hear how Chuao became an internationally award-winning chocolatier and taste an assortment of chocolate confections. (Please adhere to the dress code and photography rules.)
