Consider a Career in Manufacturing

On Friday October 3rd, 2014 Carlsbad joined the nation in celebrating National Manufacturing Day. T
his annual event was a way for our top manufacturing companies to open their doors to the public and show how manufacturing is a leader in innovation and creativity. The audience consisted of students, veterans, business owners, and professionals, looking for more information about pursuing a career in manufacturing. By gaining a personal viewpoint on the manufacturing industry the audience was able to see that a career in manufacturing is both rewarding and achievable. The San Diego region was well represented for Manufacturing Day by having over 25 companies across the county participate, including 9 companies in North County, 4 of which were Carlsbad companies.
