This Research – Golf Club Vibrations and Sound intern will support the improvement of current processes, analytical tools, and correlation between test methods related to golf club acoustics. You will report on data collection and findings, standard operating procedures for sound collection/analysis methods, and a technical presentation to the engineering department upon internship completion. Additional deliverables may include design and creation of test fixtures. The Product Evaluation Analyst is involved in testing new prototypes and final products (balls and clubs) to provide insights and data about product performance. This includes coordinating and conducting tests with golfers of all ability levels, and reporting the results and findings. Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities: Coordinating and conducting field tests, utilizing tools and equipment such as ball flight measurement equipment, launch monitors, and head tracker, with little or minimal supervision. Conduct data analysis which includes data reduction, correlations, regressions, confidence levels, confidence intervals, etc. Work closely with design engineers and offer personal insight and feedback from tests to aid in the creation of new product designs. Organizational tasks including: updating R&D database, determining test prioritization, prototype club inventory maintenance, player-tester database management (including recruitment of new testers, player testing rewards distribution, email and phone communication). Helping to develop and implement new methods of golf product testing specifically focused on human factors testing, as well as tailoring test methods to meet the unique challenges offered by golfers of different abilities. Performs other responsibilities as assigned. Knowledge and Skills Requirements: Strong written and oral communication skills, with technical writing ability Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Strong statistics knowledge, including but not limited to: ANOVA, MANOVA, and regression analysis Basic skills with Minitab, VBA and/or Matlab, preferred. This Accounting intern will participate in a rotational program across Sun Day Red (SDR) Accounting, Financial Reporting, and TaylorMade (TM) US and CA Accounting teams. This rotation is designed to provide hands-on exposure to core accounting processes, financial statement preparation, and operational support within a dynamic, multi-entity environment. This internship provides hands-on support for SDR, Financial Reporting, and TaylorMade US and CA Accounting as well as help improve efficiency in month-end close, financial statement preparation, and daily accounting operations.
