It’s been said that after you attend the Carlsbad Music Festival, you’ll think that Carlsbad is the coolest place on earth. We don’t need a music festival to convince us of that. You’ll feel well equipped to show off your music buff cred after a full weekend of adventurous sounds by the beach.
Every summer Friday evening, TGIF Concerts in the Park presents rocking live music acts at different parks around the city– so you can boogie down or just take in the tunes to celebrate a job well done.

If you’re a craft beer fanatic or just enjoy a casual one here and there, you’ll love the Carlsbad Brewfest. You’ll get to taste craft beers from all over San Diego County and beyond as well as take in live music, entertainment, games, and delicious food.
Speaking of food, you’re going to want to save your appetite because at the Taste of Carlsbad Village, you’ll get to try out the best downtown restaurants and eating & drinking establishments. By the end of the night, you’ll be an expert on all the local hotspots.
True to the city’s roots in German culture, Carlsbad is one of the best places in America to celebrate Oktoberfest. Expect more than just beers and bratwursts at the Carlsbad Oktoberfest & Family Fall Festival. Belt out your best yodel or take your turn at polka dancing with fun for the whole family at Holiday Park.

Ready to up the intensity? The Carlsbad Marathon & Half brings out world class runners and spectators alike among 26.2 miles of incredible views and great live entertainment along the way. The Carlsbad Triathlon features an exciting open ocean swim and a course among the city’s stunning beaches, hills and lagoons.
